Madilyn's Paper

Madilyn had to write about a day she would never forget.  The teacher had warned me before I read the paper because it was posted for display.  Madilyn is awesome and I love what her little mind can remember. I want her to remember what her interpretation of that moment was when she was five and having a traumatic time.  I know sometimes those interpretations can be interesting...

She drew of picture of the benches.  The paper reads:
I'll never forget the time when my brother died.  He was moaning and had a headache, and his blood pressure went all over his brain.  I think my mom got my....

neighbors to come pick me and my brother up to go to the hospital.  Then he and my mom went into a helicopter and my neighbors took me home.

This little girl never ceases to amaze me.  She has such a strong, kind spirit.  She is something special.  I still wish Ethan was here to grow up with this little girl!

As I look at my children, I remember how important every moment with is.  I still get frustrated like a normal mom, but I do have a tendency to enjoy the sweet moments with them much more than I used to.
