What I'd like to Share

These words of wisdom were given to me right after Ethan died.  They have helped me through the hardest times.  I kept the four steps given to me, but added my own summaries.  I hope this friend doesn't mind I shared.  If I could talk to all those that lost children, I would share these four things.
   1.      TRUST God.
God did not make this happen.  Everyone has their free agency.  And, bad things do happen to  good  people.  This was hard for me in the beginning, and it still is at times.  Having faith to know God is still with us.

2.  TEMPLE Worship
We, as mormons, have temples where we feel we are close to God.  Whatever religion you are, worship.  Worship God and don't run away even though that's what you feel like doing.  I did.  I had the hardest time opening scriptures or praying right after the initial funeral and people were gone.

3.      TESTIMONY
Bear your testimony.  Whatever you believe about God and his goodness, let it be known.  God loves each of us and wants each of us to be happy.
4.  REMEMBER AND RECORD
This was my favorite.  I prayed to have memories brought back to me of Ethan.  I would carry a little notebook around and wherever I was, I would write down the memory as quick as it came.  Memories came randomly.  But, I am so happy I have recorded all the ones I have.  I get these memories less frequently now, but still appreciate them.
