So, we just watched this movie with our kids for Family Home Evening (Monday night).
The kids had not seen it before.
It's Grandpa Chuck's favorite, and it's on Marcus' Top 100 movie list (not sure who has one of these besides Marcus?).
My favorite part was how much Parker got into this show.
He was so mad at Mr. Potter the whole movie.
And, this is after he was complaining about watching a black and white "old" movie.
"Oldie but goodie," we tried to tell him.
I think he agrees now.
Well, Marcus and I cannot watch this movie without crying.
We never have been able to, but I think its worse now.
We were really crying this time.
The movie has such a good message.
It really doesn't matter WHAT we have in this life, but it matters WHO we are.
It also points out how God does know all of us.
He knows when we are in need.
He sends his "angels"-earthly or not--to help us.
We've been lucky enough to know what it's like to feel the love of God through hundreds of people.
Good show.
We'll make our kids watch it every year now, I am sure.
It does remind us that it IS a wonderful life, regardless of how hard.
