So, last year at this time I let Parker go to Snowflake to stay with his cousins for the week.
I am not sure how I managed.
I think I was still in somewhat of a bubble of grief and just did it for his sake.
This year I let him go again but, it really hurts to look at an empty room.
I know that's silly, but true.
I walk by Parker's room and an "empty" room tears my heart out.
Boy, do I miss him while he's gone.

Brady and Madilyn miss him too, but having two little kids is a different tone in the home.
