Wedding Weekend

My husband, who allowed me to go and my brother, who helped me get on this trip, are the two I owe my weekend to.  Brady and I had a whirlwind of a trip.  I really wanted to be there for an old friend when he got married. 

Since losing a child, my view on life has changed.  Relationships matter more than anything.  I try to be there MORE than I used to be.

Brady at the first airport.  We had four flights all weekend (2 legs there and 2 legs back) and he was awesome!  The trick was to let him crawl all over the airport floors. I know.  Gross.  But, he was happy on the flights. 
I didn't get pictures of Brady on the flights because we made some friends and I was too busy talking.  We also saw Greg and Leah on our layover in Dallas but didn't get a pic.

This is my friend, Spencer, his new wife, Simone and their families.  My mom snapped this one when she was off to the side.  So, no one was really paying attention but I thought I'd include it.

I made them pose for this quick picture.  This is Spencer and Simone. 
They looked so great!  I am very happy for them.  He's 6'4", so she's tall :)

I was helping take pictures.  I now "need" a camera like this--it was awesome!

I wanted a picture of me with the bride and groom, but settled for just Spencer because it was a busy day for the two of them.  Spencer and I have been friends since we were 12 yrs old.  We have kept in touch over the years and I have tried to set him up with so many girls because I think he's great.  However, he finally found "the one" on his own!  He didn't need our help after all.

The flight attendant thought he was so cute, she asked to take a pciture of him.  He is cute. I have to give him that.  AND he slept for 2 of the 3 hour flight--that made him even cuter.

My husband likes to say I went to "my best friend's wedding' this weekend, but my best friend's wedding was 13 years ago when he married me.  Thanks for the weekend, honey!
