We love having our cousins come. My brother, Sean and his wife, Jessica, are wonderful. They constantly make sure we have time to see each other. This is a priority for them (and for us!). All the times we have been unable to afford flying our family to Ohio to see them, they will help. It is that important to them for our children to know each other. Without them, our kids would not be as close as they are. My kids LOVE these cousins.
Well, lets be honest, they love all their cousins. However, these are the ones that match their ages so far in life. Meaning their oldest is 12, then their 10 yr old (3 days younger than Parker), then their 8 yr old (6 months younger than Ethan), then their 5 yr old (1 yr younger than Madilyn). We have Brady as the baby and they won't match that age bracket (darn it!). The saddest part about the "age matching" is their 8 yr old no longer has Ethan to be "matched" with. It is so hard watching him be here and not have Ethan. Their personalities are so similar, its tough to not be sad when watching him play. I'm getting used to it, but I will probably always watch Collin (8 yr old) closely as he grows.
They have been in town again and are leaving today. Even though this trip was to test Collin's allergies and they are no better here than there, it was awesome they to spend time with them again. We can't wait to see them again this summer!
Here are a few old photos together and I can't get today's photo to post!

Trip to Canada to see Grandma Marilyn and Grandpa Chuck. Grandpa is holding Collin in his right hand and Ethan in the left. Grandma is holding Madilyn. Parker is in the middle on the bottom with Logan on his right and Hannah on his left. |
