I want to be an Artist!

Pretty sure Marcus snapped this beauty!  I love it.  Now, we want some "artistic" type photos of our kids.  This was just a day on the trampoline.

 Madilyn has always wanted to be an artist.  However, I can't seem to get this hat off of her.  Maybe she is an artistic cowgirl at heart.

 Madilyn built this cross in our backyard next to our pirate ship (using her artistic skills).  She has told us that Ethan is there.  What a sad reality she lives with sometimes.  Her reality is her brother died, and now her reality is she wants him buried in the backyard.  Sad, but darling at the same time.  The cross is still there.  We will let her take it out when she wants.

 She remembers Ethan daily because she LOVES to wear his clothes.  This is last year's (2010) soccer jersey of Ethan's with his shorts.  I was saving these in his hope chest because they remind us so much of Ethan, but she loves wearing them so much we just let her!

My sports girl.  She does take after Ethan this way.  Never without a ball of some sort.

Another quick story I'm adding.  While flying to Ohio last night, Madilyn was so excited.  She has flown before but its been couple of years and she really didn't remember.  As we flew over the clouds she said, "We're above the clouds!  I wonder if heaven is up here.  If it is, we can fly to see Ethan. That would be cool."  I wonder where heaven is too. 
She did also put her arms up like she was on a roller coaster as we were landing--and she screamed with delight.  All the old people around just laughed!
