This was our welcome thanks to my cute niece, Hannah. It took me the full 24 hours to realize that the small signs on the bottom represented each of us. I'm quick. |
Hannah went right to making cookies. I wish I would have taken a picture of the final project. Let's just say next time I will make the cookies. I do love Hannah in the kitchen! She actually is a huge helper with everything and this week will be awesome having her here.
Parker and Logan being crazy already. Not sure about Parker's stance??? These two are three days apart and are the best cousins. I think Parker may be leaning over to not look TOO much taller than Logan. He's mentioned a couple of times since we've been here "how tall he is." Logan will probably catch up with him later and we'll smile at this.
My kids were anxious to get out in the snow. The first thing they did was dress in snow clothes and run outside. Here we are at Grandpa Bruce's (not our grandpa at all--my sister-in-law's dad--its just easier to say Grandpa Bruce). He's walking with the kids to go sledding. What a grandpa! I was so cold I didn't even want to be outside. I'm a bit wimpy.
Grandpa Bruce ended up pulling the little girls down the street. Our cousin, Ella, is in front and Madilyn is in the back.
This is the hill we made it to. Here's Logan trudging back up. I got there after the first sledding down. Obviously, there is not enough snow to sled, even when willing it to be. The boys ended up wanting to sled down in the mud. I told them they could, but they wouldn't have a ride home. They chose to be done.
Parker and Logan at the bottom. Madilyn up top.
The girls! They had so much fun. Madilyn fell down quite a bit, but Ella was an expert out there.
Look at that sad face. Poor Parker :( Sledding wasn't what we had dreamed. Ella, Madilyn and Collin in the back. Parker and Logan in the front.
Cute Bradsters with a Patriots hat! Logan's team is the Patriots and its only appropriate that Brady wear the hat.
Here are the girls before bed reading books. Lights were supposed to be out about an hour before.
However, the nerds of the family were studying the periodic table before bed. Seriously. Parker now wants a periodic table poster for his room! I only know he's my child because he's just like my brothers.
The Boys. Collin, Parker, Logan and Brady before church today. I'm proud they were all ready to go and in time enough for a picture. It kills me that Collin doesn't have Ethan here. Ah! But, he does love Brady and has been handling it really well.
I know I am picture happy. It probably won't continue through the week. Here are the beautiful girls. Hannah, Ella and Madilyn. They were "triplets" with their hair. Hannah did all of them.
After church the girls were pretending they had a mean teacher.
Boys outside just before the blizzard hit. Literally, I can hardly see out the window right now.
Grandma relaxing before the kids came back inside.
Glad we have a chance to be with family. We miss our Dad, and our cousins miss their parents, but we're enjoying the moment!
Love you guys. I love that you are all friends. Keep it up. Ethan, I know, misses being here with Collin too.
Wow! I am impressed with your documentation! Good job. Being with cousins is the worst. I don't have anything profound to tell you, but if someone else does.....let me know! Because I would love to hear it :) Have fun with all that snow!
ReplyDeleteLove it Kim! Your kids need to come to Alaska, we have lots of snow here, Parker wouldn't be disappointed.
