Here's a Classic....

I am working as an assistant principal.

I love it.

However, I am always shocked when parents don't support the school, especially when it's obvious where the problem lies.

I had a parent hang up on me today because "they didn't have time to deal with it."

This kind of thinking is so far from my mind, I have a hard time grasping that this is truly the case.

I also have a hard time feeling like I want to pick these children up and bring them home with me because I can see they need some love.

Just the pure emotions that go into each day can be exhausting.

Glad I am easing my way back in.
