Ya know how people say I'm cute?

Madilyn had told my mom that she got in trouble at school.

My mom asked, "How did you get in trouble?  Were you benched?"

Madilyn said, "I didn't get in trouble. I ALMOST got in trouble."

My mom asked, "How did you ALMOST get in trouble?"

Madilyn, with a big smile and a little knowing, sly look in her eye said, "Ya know how people say I'm cute??" 

Yep, that was her answer to why she didn't get in trouble.

In her defense, she is cute and people do tend to give her what she wants because of it.  We're just as guilty.
