Madilyn wrote this little note on Sunday. We're not sure what brought it on except her own little thoughts. Boy, do we love this girl! Its a little hard to see....

Translated as: My brother Ethan died and I miss him so much and he is in the 3rd grade and is eight years old.

We never said she was great gramatically. She is only in kindergarten. She did 'make him' be in the grade he would be this year.
I hope she'll forgive me for sharing her notes. They are so thoughtful and she's been thinking a lot about Ethan this week. Yesterday in the car she said to me, "Isn't it weird that the doctors didn't know about Ethan's blood vessels?" (she actually did say blood vessels) I tried to explain that it wasn't weird it just something we hadn't tested for.
