Happy Easter!

We look back a year and can't believe we celebrated Easter without Ethan last year at this time.  Passing this year mark without our little guy has been a little weird.   I hate to say it but it gets harder and harder every day to remember what it was like with him bouncing around this house.  It seems like our life is just our life and its harder to remember how it was "before."  I haven't forgotten him, nor will I, but it is harder to remember the household with him.

How grateful we are for this Easter holiday, and to be able to celebrate the Resurrection of our Savior, Jesus Christ.  Because of his Resurrection, we get to see Ethan again some day!  What a great gift.  Our Savior has given us the greatest gift of all and that is to live again.  How close this is to my heart these days and always will be.

Easter is a hard day to get through as we talk about death and resurrection throughout church.  I am grateful for the knowledge we do have, and I know Ethan is happy where he is.  We'll work every day to get back to him.  He is missed, but his short life on this earth is teaching us a lot still.

Happy Easter!  I am very grateful to those who read my words and have enjoyed getting to know Ethan.  I will continue to share all I can.

Madilyn looking like an Easter egg in her clothes while hunting for eggs.

Uncle Creston put rocks in the plastic eggs so they would sink--all for Parker!
