Two memories today.
The only call I have ever had from the principal was when Ethan was in kindergarten. The principal called and said, "Mrs. Ellsworth, we have had our boys bathroom flooded for three days now. Today we found your son, Ethan, doing the flooding." What???? In Kindergarten? ?? What was I in for? I guess he and a couple of friends were shoving as much toilet paper in the urinals as possible and kept flushing it. It just flooded the bathroom. Fun kid.
At Parent Teacher Conferences for Ethan they always consisted of letting me know how many different places his desk had been. He never could quite contain his social side. The teachers couldn't keep him in the same place for long because he could get anyone to talk to him. That is a fun kid :)

ReplyDeleteI am loving these memories - it's making me want to write down more of the memories of my kids, every day would be amazing. I am horrible at stuff like that. Reading your blog makes me want to be a better mom and not get all caught up in the small stuff that drives me crazy. Thanks for that Kim!!
