This Post is for Me

This post if for me because I need reminding of the things that are important in life.

You'd think I wouldn't forget, however as I get crazy with life I let little things upset me.

When I look at our cute picture of our family, I remember what is most important.

My job is not important.  

It's nice to have, but in the large scheme of life it doesn't rank up there with my family.

My stresses of whether or not I get something accomplished is not important.

It's nice to always accomplish what you want to in the time frame you want to, but in life it doesn't rank up there with the most important things.

I need reminding of this all the time.

For the first full year after Ethan died, I did not need reminding--it was very apparent.

Now, I slide back into life a little and have to post my own reminders.

Sad.

The relationships I have and those closest to me is where I need to put my energy.

I did decide to share one of our family photos from this year.

FYI:  We did not have Ethan in all of them.  Just a couple.

I made fun of my husband when he wanted to use Ethan's picture in our picture last year.

Well, this year it was my idea. So it must have been a better idea now because we did it.

It's a little strange for me to look at the picture in picture thing, but we do really like the ones with ALL of us!
