Brady's First time..

Here's my little hiking clubbers:

The two crazies on the end always seem to match each week.  

Becky, Brady and I feel a little left out :)

This week (we hike on Fridays) was more of a nature walk.  

We decided to "find" Ethan's bench again.

This was Brady's first time hiking the bench.

For those that don't remember, when we hiked Ethan's bench on the anniversary of his death, the bench had been taken out.

Well, Suzie (the pink on the right end), it was her son that put the bench in as an Eagle Scout Project.

She was interested in where it had been "taken" too.

Suzie's family has no idea what a comfort this bench has been to us.

We have loved "hiking his bench."

I am sure its partially because Ethan is buried in Snowflake which is a couple hours away, and this bench gives us an activity to do to be "with him"....

But, we have LOVED it.

We were devastated when it was taken out.

A nice ranger lady kept my number since March and called me a couple of weeks ago to let me know Ethan's bench was now up again.  

It's not really a hike to get there, but it's a walk, and it has beautiful view.
