The Next Morning

Here she is.  Beautiful redneck :)
She lost her front tooth last week and she hasn't quite looked the same since.
She ran out of bed at 5:30 this morning and said, "It's time to take the mask off."
I decided she thought it was a mask because she went to sleep with a mask on, and when she woke up I think she just though it was moved to the side.  Who knows?
I told her we'd take the mask off as soon as we had one last photo.
She agreed, but the flash at 5:30 really got to her.
So, this is my attractive little picture of her.

Now she is as happy as a clam with only cotton in her ear.
Her face is a little swollen, but other than that there is little blood or pain.
She is supposed to take it easy for a couple of days.
Madilyn found Ethan's old Cars pajamas that buttoned.
We needed those because nothing would go over her head with that big 'ole mask on.
That is something the hospital didn't mention to me--bring a shirt that buttons.
The nurse offered to cut her shirt for me to get it over her head.
Really?
Not even a paper gown or something?
Luckily, I had a little sweater over another shirt, so she wore my little sweater home.
I don't make it a habit to cut new shirts just to fit over her head for a day.
Weird.
