This is the morning we spent at the Button Bed and Breakfast. They showed us around a little. Like I said befree, we would go back if we ever have the chance. The couple was adorable and made us feel at home. Look at our fun pictures:

The owner had some pretty interesting stories about how he had started in the sheep business. He told them to Marcus, so I can't really do them justice. Lets just say they were definitely "interesting" and a little scary.

Kids at the windmill.

These windmills are new to the area. Supposedly the only other ones as BIG are located in Texas. It was fun being right up next to one. We tried to get the kids and the whole windmill in a picture, but with just our phones and a cheap camera it wasn't working too well.

Hannah, Parker, Logan--aren't they adorable?? |
This next picture was a favorite of me and Marcus. We call it the cow merry-go-round. The cows, honestly, fought to get on this thing. They would line up to get on where they were hooked up to be milked. The cows were milked as they rode around in a big circle (slowly, but like a merry-go-round). It was really funny to watch how these cows acted. Its as if they LOVED riding around being milked. We got to watch the farmers stop the merry-go-round because one wouldn't get off when it was her (the cow's) turn. She just wanted to keep riding. The farm also had a computer system that marked which cow was being milked, in what order and at what time. They certainly had this down to a science.
The boys had to ask how much this had cost them. The owner only said, "In the millions." Always the little business thinkers, those boys!

Cows on the merry-go-round. This dairy farm was SO CLEAN. I didn't feel dirty there at all. Thats pretty good for this city girl. This dairy also cinches the tails so they fall off. Helps with the mess. We were told the amount of milk produced at this farm in a day could make enough cheese for 3 million pizzas---or something astronomical like that. |
After visiting the dairy farm all morning, we saw this being hauled along the road:

Had to take the picture. Marcus took it while I was driving. Good job, honey. |
I love cows!
