The next leg of our trip was to Gettysburg. We almost decided not to go. It was so hot and we thought we'd save driving time. However, I tend to love history now. I guess as I have aged, I appreciate history more. So, we decided to go. I love hearing the stories. We need to learn from history, right?
Gettysburg was really cool, and now I want to read up on it more. Any good books? Let me know.
We did the visitor's center, toured the town and the historical sites.
