My favorite part of this day was the storm. Don't get me wrong, the park was beautiful and we had a great time, but the storm was awesome. Being from Phoenix, we don't get to appreciate storms very often.
For instance, when my sister-in-law was visiting from Ohio once she took the kids to the park. It started to sprinkle. She came home immediately. We all made fun of her because it could sprinkle in Arizona all day and not ever really rain. Well, our day at Busch Gardens proved to us why she did that. There was an announcement over the loudspeaker to "take cover because of the inclement weather." There wasn't any weather besides a few drops of rain. Within minutes, it was a downpour. The park was in "code purple" which is the one next to the WORST. I guess it was pretty bad. We ended up being cooped up in a building for an hour or so before they let us go to our cars. We didn't get through the whole park that day, but we got most of it in befoe the storm hit.

Loved that it was 'Brady's' |

Couldn't get my picture straight, but these are my kids playing in the storm. We were the strange ones from Arizona just wanting to play in the rain. |
