Yesterday, I loved going to church. Its amazing the spirit you can feel when a congregation is standing and singing the national anthem. I felt it the moment I walked in. I had been in the mother's lounge with Brady and came in to the best meeting. I am grateful for those who serve our country. I am grateful to live in this beautiful country. I always get emotional about the 4th of July, but singing yesterday brought that out a bit more than usual.
I would like to celebrate the 4th better than I normally do. I'd like to concentrate more on the purpose of the day rather than just barbeques and swimming. However, I am not sure how to do that?
I love how our country was set up, how God has his hand in it, and how we still enjoy many freedoms others don't. It was truly inspired.
I hope as this week continues I'll be able to remember that spirit from yesterday, concentrate on the reason for the 4th of July, and realize how blessed we are to live here.
